Testing Calendar and Information

Baker Aviation provides a complete array of testing to meet the needs of its students and the aviation industry.

We provide TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) testing for our enrolled students.  The TABE test must be taken within 6 weeks of enrollment in all of our programs.  Students enrolled in our Avionics Program must score at least a 10.0 on the Mathematics, Reading, and Language Arts on this test.

We provide the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Written General, Airframe, and Powerplant exams, for our students, through our LaserGrade computer test center which is located on-site.

Practical FAA General, Airframe and Powerplant requirements are fulfilled as part of our class curriculum.  Through an FAA exemption, Baker Aviation is one of a few schools nationally who have this ability.  FAA Oral exams are provided to students at no cost and are taken after the General, Airframe, or Powerplant curriculum is completed and grades have been posted to the students transcript.

Students must take a School Qualifying exam prior to taking the FAA General, Airframe and Powerplant Written Exam.

Non US citizens must have a Passport in order to take all FAA exams.

US citizens must provide a Florida Drivers License or School ID.
