There is a Boeing 737 at Baker! Print E-mail

Through the effort and coordination of Mr. Benny F. Benitez, Founder and CEO of the 94th AeroClaims-Aviation Consultant Group of Miami, Florida, George T. Baker Aviation School recently received a Boeing 737-201, as a donation from their client Freeman Leasing, L.L.C.

The local aviation and construction industry rallied around this project.
Many companies donated funds while others donated materials and service - all of which have bee
n gratefully received.

The move took place the night of June 28th.
The 737 was lifted by a 500 ton crane (Allegiance Crane) over SR112 from MIA and placed on LeJuene Rd. just after midnight.
Commercial Jet will tug the 737 into place at Baker Aviation.
