George T. Baker Aviation School now offers a one stop shop for you to prepare and take your oral, practical, and written exams for you to obtain your FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certificates. To enroll in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) AMT Exam Prep Course, you must have two (2) original Airman Certificate and/or Rating Applications (FAA Form 8610-2) signed by the FAA in section V, Block A. The course is broken into three parts: General, Airframe, and Powerplant. General consist of 66 hours of intensive instruction and exam review, including 14 hours of hands on projects. Airframe consist of 46 hours of intensive instruction and exam review, including 11 hours of hands on projects. Powerplant consist of 40 hours of intensive instruction and exam review, including 11 hours of hands on projects. Following your completion of the course, you will then be able to take the written exam on-site at our LaserGrade Test Center. We will assist you with completing your oral and practical exams with a local Technical Personnel Examiner (TPE).
