NEW STATE OF FL REQUIRMENT FOR NEW ADULT STUDENTS - EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

In order to receive the Florida resident tuition rate, ALL new students must provide TWO REQUIRED forms of documents proving residency for the LAST 12 MONTHS!  These original documents must be brought to the school in order to register and receive the Florida tuition rate.

Mr. Salcedo Featured in Magazine Print E-mail
Mr. Dan Salcedo made the front cover and featured article of the February, 2008, magazine, "Sport Aerobatics: Magazine of the International Aerobatic Club."  The article highlights Dan and his Pitts S-1-11.
 
Students get funded by The Education Fund Print E-mail
Mr. Howard Carter and his student team got funded by The Education Fund to develop a robotic local positioning guidance system.  Using the Local Guidance System technology, students will draw from science, engineering, and computer programming to design, assemble, and program a robot to navigate a formidable obstacle course.
 
TSA Team Wins! Print E-mail

Congratulations to Ms. Noemy Pascual, instructor at George T. Baker Aviation School, on her student TSA team on their winning 1st (Paulina Alvarez) and 2nd (Christian Harrison) place in the Electricity/Electronics competition at the TSA Florida State Fair. This is the first time that Baker Aviation has competed in the TSA FL State Fair competition - not bad for the first time!

George T. Baker Aviation School is located at 3275 N.W. 42 Avenue, adjacent to the Miami International Airport. The school is a public, tax-supported institution authorized by the Florida Department of Education and operated by the Miami-Dade County Public School System. It is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE) and the National Center for Aircraft Technician Training (NCATT) and is certificated by the Federal Aviation Administration under Part 147 of the Federal Aviation Regulations. Certificate # CT9T072R.
